Former Broncos QB Tim Hiller works out for Chicago Bears
Former Western Michigan University quarterback Tim Hiller worked out for the Chicago Bears on Tuesday, according to WMU coach Bill Cubit. Hiller couldn’t be reached for comment.
The Chicago Tribune reported the Bears also worked out QB Matt Nichols. Chicago has three quarterbacks on its active roster, so it’s likely Hiller and Nichols were vying for a spot on the practice squad.
The Bears released sixth-round pick and ex-Central Michigan QB Dan LeFevour during training camp.
